Welcome to Tutbury Band; there are currently three bands within the organisation these are:
Training Band:
Training Band is our "Beginner Band".
The Band is conducted by Jo Thorpe on a Wednesday evening starting at 6.30pm - 7.30pm.
The pieces that we practise are Grade 1 standard and below.
The purpose of this Band is to prepare the members for our Junior Band which is also run on a Wednesday evening.
Junior Band:
Junior Band is our "Intermediate Band".
The Band is conducted by Richard Woodberry on a Wednesday evening starting at 6.30pm-8.15pm(including a refreshment break)
The pieces that we practise are Grade 1-4 standard on average.
Senior Band:
Senior Band is our "Advanced Band".
The Band is conducted by Kevin Orton on a Saturday Morning starting at 10.00am - 12-00 noon (including a refreshment break)
The pieces that we practise are Grade 4+ standard on average.
Auditions are required.
